About the Event

Join us for this free family event to learn about Juan Bautista de Anza's legendary expedition that departed the Tubac Presidio in 1775 with 240 people  (men, women and children) to found San Franscisco, California. 

10am-11am: Lecture:  The Anza Trail with NPS Ranger, Christopher Bentley

10am-2pm: Kids Actitivites with NPS staff, Marshall Morgan

11am-1pm: The Anza Trail Color Guard in period dress and horses

11:30-3pm: Hotdogs & beverages sold by the Knights of Columbus

2pm-3pm: Lecture: Archaeology's Deep Time Persprective on Environment and Social Sustainability with Old Pueblo Archaelogy's Allen Dart
