Join us for an immersive and educational experience in our "Surviving in the Desert" hands-on workshop. This unique event is designed for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning essential survival skills in a desert environment. Participants will engage in a series of practical activities that highlight traditional techniques used to thrive in arid landscapes.


Stone Blade Crafting: Guests will learn the ancient art of making stone blades from river stones.

Yucca Twine Rope Making: Discover the versatility of the yucca plant as you create durable twine rope from its leaves.

Fire by Friction: Experience the traditional method of starting a fire using friction.


To conclude the workshop, participants will enjoy a delightful treat by making s'mores around the fire. This fun activity not only provides a delicious end to the day but also reinforces the importance of fire in survival situations.
